Joe Lynam, CEO & Co-Founder

Joe Lynam is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive Global experience with start-ups and Fortune 100 companies in fintech and digital payments.   He is currently the co-founder and CEO of xPressTap, leading a team of entrepreneurs and engineers building a disruptive payment platform and APIs designed to turn every smart phone into a mobile POS terminal.  

Prior to xPressTap Lynam founded PaymentOne Corp. (DBA PayOne) and VRS Billing Systems (Acquired by AT&T).  Under his direct leadership as CEO, Lynam grew the company to greater than $35 million in ARR and accounted for more than $3 billion in retail payments by its fourth year of operation. 

Lynam holds 11 patents supporting his work in mobile commerce, mobile wallets, data analytics and authentication methodologies. He is an Inc. 500 alumnus and oft-requested speaker and commentator at industry events and leading media journals such as   Business Week, Forbes, Bloomberg, AdWeek, CBS MarketWatch, Investor’s Business Daily, CNN and others.

Lynam graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelors of Science and Commerce degree.

Mark Snycerski, CTO & Co-Founder

Mark Snycerski is a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at xPressTap. He is a hands-on software leader with 20+ years of extensive technology experience including full-stack development, iOS and Android application development, and system integration. Mark has successfully hired, retained, and grown engineering and operations teams using local and offshore development resources. He has created several robust, scalable, and maintainable architectures in the Fintech and IoT space.

Snycerski was also the founder of LapApps, LLC, a private company focused on app development and IoT devices. Previously, Snycerski was the VP of Engineering at PayOne where he created international teams and platforms to facilitate mobile payments in over 80 countries. The full service platform included mobile, credit card, and landline transaction processing, merchant portals, customer support tools, and monitoring applications for network operations.  

Prior to PayOne, Snycerski built B2B integration software with a 40 person engineering team at Netfish Technologies where he grew the company from 10 to 300 employees and a successful acquisition by IONA Technologies, a middleware software company. 

Snycerski graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and from Stanford University with a Master of Science in Computer Science.

William Tsui, COO & Co-Founder

 

As co-founder, William Tsui was the original designer of the xPressTap product in Canada before bringing the technology to Silicon Valley and reconstituting the company in the U.S.  Tsui currently runs Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Accounting, and Human Resources for xPressTap. Tsui also focuses on the merchant and end-user trust and security.

Tsui’s prior entrepreneurial and security driven experience includes founding and overseeing all technology security departments, marketing, and operations for a number of companies including Suntel Networks Inc, VioPro Marketing, and Clear Technologies Inc.

 

Erick Lee, Co-Founder

Erick Lee, co-founder for XpressTap has contributed a great deal of his creativity and knowledge in business, design, and technology to the inception of  the company. Lee brings tremendous value in market research and analysis to the company in addition to his creative drive and knowledge with UI and UX design for the mobile payment space.  

Lee manages  the UX and Design for XpressTap and focuses on all aspects of the merchant and buyer’s full experience cycle from account management to the payment process. Lee is bringing to life the look and feel of the mPOS and e-commerce products and using a range of diagramming, image editing, and prototyping tools.

Lee has also been highly involved in the drafting of the Intellectual Property and Patents for xPressTap since inception.

Lee graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
